£25,000 - £30,000 basic with OTE of £45,000 (yr 1) £55,000 plus yr 2
Our client, an industry-leading multimedia B2B publisher with a full suite of solutions available to their client base are looking for an additional Sales Account Manager to join their highly motivated team.
About the role
We are looking for a persuasive B2B advertising Sales Account Manager, to sell their entire suite of media products including websites. They are also looking for someone to provide first-class account management to a range of companies that specifically supply their products and services within their sector.
Responsibilities
· Building and sustaining long-term relationships that lead to execution of long-term partnerships being signed
· Conducting research on clients’ products and services to determine how your media can align with their market strategy
· The willingness to cold contact targets on a daily basis to present to them our B2B media portfolio and how it can impact their business in a favourable way
· Setting up meetings with both potential and existing clients
· Persuading clients to purchase advertising with strong communication and negotiating skills
· Achieving and exceeding revenue targets
· Negotiating deals
· Developing and account management of existing clients, to ensure year-on-year repeat business values are increased
· Researching; competitors, the Gambling industry, key personnel from your client list.
· Develop an interest and understanding of the Gambling industry to display when communicating with clients a thorough understanding of their marketing needs
· Accurate upkeep of all ongoing sales activities in the CRM system (Pipedrive)
· To be an active team player that contributes to inputting ideas to maximise the sales potential for the business.
· Provide clear reporting on revenue, figures, activity and sales forecasts on a weekly basis
· Travel to exhibitions and conferences for networking and client meetings
About you
The successful applicant will:
· MUST have a min. of 2 years experience of selling B2B media advertising
· Be based with proximity to travel daily Monday – Friday to Central London office (Shoreditch)
· To have the aspiration to make an abundance of daily calls where majority of the time it seems impossible to speak with anyone
· To have the ability in finding ways to obtain contact with Marketing decision makers
· Have the desire to exceed targets with a hard-working attitude with the willingness to going further beyond the ‘shift’
· Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills
· Have strong interpersonal skills, including a professional work ethic
· Strong cold calling skills
· Be a confident communicator and a relationship builder
· Proficient writing skills
· Excellent organisational and analytical skills
· Have a calm head when under pressure to meet deadlines
· Available to work minimum hours Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm in a Central London office
· Available to attend trade shows plus travel internationally
· Be a team player accompanied with a winning mentality
